The Sugar Loaf, Abergavenny
The Sugar Loaf is a mountain near Abergavenny in Monmouthshire, South Wales. It is the southernmost of the peaks of the Black Mountains, its height is 1,955 feet. The summit looks over the Black Mountains to the north, and the Cotswolds to the east. On the summit it is possible to view the Brecon Beacons including Pen y Fan and Corn Du in the west and the Bristol Channel in the south. The Skirrid is visible to the east. On a clear day hills as far north as Shropshire and as far south as Somerset are visible.
